Sales Leader for Indirect Channels in Oman

About the RoleThe Sales Leader for Indirect Channels in Oman will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the Medtronic business in Oman, reporting to the Gulf Regional Leader. The role involves achieving commercial objectives, managing the Profit & Loss (P&L), building relationships with key customers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services to the market.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement country and account-level strategies, value propositions, and go-to-market (GTM) plans.
- Identify new revenue and commercial opportunities and address potential blind spots to ensure comprehensive Medtronic representation.
- Support the region and IC (Indirect Channel) lead teams whenever required.
- Liaise with other enablers to 'connect the dots' and drive EMEA RLM-wide strategies for IM (Indirect Markets).
- Serve as the primary contact for cross-functional projects and information exchange with Strategic Marketing Enterprise (SME), Strategic Account Accelerators (SAA) enablers, credit & collection, & regulatory.
This includes conducting and leading regular business reviews (BR) with all distributors, controlling and monitoring the execution of contracts, using commercial tools, and leading the price strategy per distributor in accordance with country price strategies per product category.
In addition, this role requires assisting local distributors in promoting the Medtronic portfolio with clients, encompassing market research, training, and presentations.
Requirements- A bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with local regulations & market dynamics.
- Fluency in English is required, and fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to travel 25%+ of the time.

We estimate that the annual salary for this position will be around $120,000 - $150,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
