As a Sales Account Executive at Aspen Technology, Inc., you will be a key driver of our company's success. With a strong background in direct sales of software solutions, particularly in the Energy/Petroleum/Engineering industry, you will leverage your expertise to sell software licenses and consulting services directly to assigned customer accounts.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Executive to join our team. This is a senior role responsible for managing day-to-day sales processes, coordinating account meetings, and providing sales and executive management with account updates and sales forecasts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth and achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas.

Your Impact:
* Achieve quarterly and annual sales quota
* Develop and maintain customer contacts at assigned accounts
* Lead multidivisional account teams and work as a team member on global account opportunities

What You'll Need:
* Demonstrated track record in successful direct sales of software solutions
* Extensive experience selling to customers in the Energy/Petroleum/Engineering industry
* Significant experience leading multimillion-dollar sales campaigns
* Proficient at establishing and cultivating consultative relationships with C-level executives
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Personal computer literacy
* University degree preferred
* Self-discipline and motivation to produce results with indirect supervision

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
