About the Role

As a Channel Sales Specialist in Oman, you will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the Medtronic business in the country, reporting to the Gulf Regional Leader. Your primary goal will be to achieve commercial objectives, manage the Profit and Loss (P&L), build relationships with key customers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement country and account-level strategies, value propositions, and go-to-market (GTM) plans.
  • Identify new revenue and commercial opportunities and address potential blind spots to ensure comprehensive Medtronic representation.
  • Support the region and Indirect Channel (IC) lead teams whenever required.
  • Liaise with other enablers to drive EMEA RLM-wide strategies for Indirect Markets (IM).
  • Serve as the primary contact for cross-functional projects and information exchange with Strategic Marketing Enterprise (SME), Strategic Account Accelerators (SAA) enablers, credit & collection, & regulatory.
  • Liaise with the SME team to understand portfolio strategies and their implications for the assigned team.
  • Conduct & lead regular business reviews (BR) with all distributors.
  • Control and monitor the execution of contracts, using commercial tools and leading the price strategy per distributor in accordance with country price strategies per product category.
  • Assist local distributor promoting Medtronic portfolio with clients, encompassing market research, training, and presentations.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with local regulations & market dynamics.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel 25%+ of the time.
