Key Account Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Key Account Development Specialist to contribute directly to revenue growth through the sale of Aspen Technology software solutions and professional services. This role entails driving consultative discussions to position our software and services with customers, renewing and expanding our business. The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience utilizing subsurface geomodelling software for static reservoir modelling in oil and gas, geothermal, or carbon capture and storage applications;
- A track record of achieving sales quotas and developing sales pipelines;
- Expertise in managing day-to-day sales processes, coordinating account meetings, and leveraging sales support resources;
- The ability to provide sales and executive management with account updates, sales forecasts, and other essential information;
- Familiarity with leading multidivisional account teams and collaborating on global account opportunities;
- Experience developing and maintaining customer contacts at assigned accounts.
In addition to a university degree, we seek candidates with extensive experience selling to customers in the energy, petroleum, and engineering industries. A demonstrated history of direct software sales success, as well as significant experience leading multimillion-dollar sales campaigns, is highly valued. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, proficiency in establishing and cultivating C-level consultative relationships, and self-discipline to produce results with minimal supervision.
