As a Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining existing accounts in an assigned territory, acting alone, and as a liaison for various sales specialists with accounts to increase Abbott's market penetration. You will have access to:

Key Responsibilities
- Meet assigned sales targets at desirable market shares.
- Provide direction to facilitate goal setting, monitor progress, measure results, reward incentive payments, and conduct performance appraisals.
- Select, interview, and attract new recruits to the sales team.
- Clear upside potential and lead sales forces through teams of supervisors.
- Provide in-field coaching, follow-up training to support skill-based training, and develop subordinates for succession planning.
- Conduct sales meetings to monitor progress, facilitate communication, provide representatives with a forum to network, and offer training.
- Control and monitor implementation of sales strategies and tactics, providing feedback and market intelligence to the Marketing department.
- Maintain contact with key accounts, identify opportunities for corporate marketing, and cultivate them as necessary.
- Effectively communicate with all levels of staff via staff meetings, written communications, and one-on-one communication.
- Interact and work with management/employees to promote teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements, policies, and procedures, serving as a role model to all employees by demonstrating full support of occupational health, safety, and environmental programs.
- Identify and implement best practices and encourage innovation.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in medical sciences are a must.
- 5-6 years of experience in the sales field of pharmaceuticals, including a minimum of 1 year in a managerial role with people management experience.
- Fully aware and knowledgeable about key accounts and key stakeholders in Kuwait's private market.
- Strong sales record.
