Event Sales and Business Development Professional

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and prospect new clients and business opportunities within the events industry, utilizing effective cold calling, networking, and email campaigns to generate leads.
• Client Consultation and Proposal Development: Meet with clients to understand their event needs, budgets, and requirements, then develop tailored proposals, presentations, and pricing packages that meet their expectations.
• Sales and Negotiation: Close sales and negotiate terms, pricing, and packages that align with client budgets, while achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Event Coordination and Management: Serve as the primary contact for clients during the sales and event planning process, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers to ensure successful event execution.
• Relationship Management and Customer Satisfaction: Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction before, during, and after the event.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, interior design, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in sales or event management roles.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of event industry trends, venues, and logistics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Preferred qualifications include experience in specific event segments (e.g., corporate events, weddings) and familiarity with stage and theatrical design, venue analysis, and floor planning.
