Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and organized Administrative Support Officer to provide administrative support to the department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the department, including preparation of correspondence, taking minutes, and filing documents.
  • Act as a first point of contact for the department, providing exceptional client service to ACK students.
  • Coordinate information flow within the department, handling confidential correspondence and referral matters for comment or further action to relevant staff members.
  • Offer mutual backup and organizational support for other staff within the department.
  • Follow up on no-show students and flag them to the Office of Registrar for further action.
  • In coordination with Instructors, prepare students' progress reports when required.
  • Responsible for completing all semester-end requirements as assigned by the Head of School.
  • Undertake additional duties and special projects under the direction of the Head of Program.
Language Skills:

Arabic - Fluent/Excellent, English - Fluent/Excellent

Required Qualifications:
  • Formal qualification in Office Administration
  • Minimum 1 year experience in office administration within a customer service environment
  • Advanced IT skills in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn and work on various software packages
  • High level of English and Arabic language proficiency
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, unsupervised, and as a team member
  • Exercise initiative, judgment, discretion, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills
  • Strong Work Ethic
