About the Role

The Sales Account Executive is a key member of the Aspen Technology Sales team, responsible for selling software licenses and consulting services to assigned customer accounts.

Your Impact
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales quota by developing and executing effective sales strategies.
  • Manage day-to-day sales process, coordinate account meetings, and provide sales support resources to drive business growth.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships at assigned accounts through regular communication and consultation.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify new business opportunities and develop targeted sales plans.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in selling software solutions to customers in the Energy/Petroleum/Engineering industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful direct sales, with significant experience leading multimillion dollar sales campaigns.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to establish and cultivate consultative relationships with clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge of subsurface geomodelling software for static modelling of reservoirs (O&G, Geothermal, CCS or Upstream related applications).
  • Familiarity with Aspen or similar products, as well as international company experience.
