Job Description
In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our Trade Sales Manager to develop action plans and forecasts for the trade segment. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Trade Sales Manager in creating strategic plans and budgets for the trade segment.
- Enhancing sales approaches with trade partners' sales staff.
- Adding new customers/trade partners to the Hempel Trade Board and expanding our network.
- Finding solutions and leads for trade partners to improve business across the country.
- Ensuring operational activities required for the selling process are under control.
- Handling customer inquiries effectively.
- Utilizing opportunities as part of the lead generation process.
- Supporting marketing teams in implementing activities, product launches, promotions, pricing, portfolios, etc.
- Training and coaching Trade Partners' sales forces.
- Growing the customer database of Distributors in assigned areas.
- Updating CRM records on contacts, cases, and activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Familiarity with Sales Systems, e.g., CRM.
- Superior problem-solving skills.
- Ability to resolve operational challenges.
- Familiarity with different sales techniques.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivation, service-oriented, and customer-focused attitude.
- Availability to travel occasionally.
