Job Title: Trade Marketing Leader - FMCG Industry
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing trade marketing activities across various channels, ensuring seamless execution of promotional strategies, and managing budgets to meet sales targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement channel-specific trade marketing plans, aligning with business objectives and growth numbers.
- Collaborate with the Director Trade Marketing & RTM to ideate, plan, and budget for in-store activities, including point-of-sale materials and promotions.
- Support the Director in creating RTM channel trade marketing strategies to achieve defined business objectives.
- Recommend local market promotions to boost sales and provide feedback on new product launches or re-launches.
- Oversee trade marketing budget management, finalizing category-wise budgets monthly to ensure effective budget allocation.
- Manage trade marketing investments based on agreed customer strategies and ROI targets.
- Provide guidance to channel merchandisers and distributor partners to execute daily tasks effectively.
- Support On-Ground sales teams in executing activities and achieving sales and budget objectives.
- Lead the development and production of promotional displays and point-of-promotion across channels.
- Track and report on point-of-sale trends, market share, store coverage, and in-store execution performance.
- Ensure annual and monthly sales activity and marketing support planning, including support for new initiatives launches.
- Utilize software like Planogram to develop effective solutions for key accounts and work with available assets to create new programs.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of related experience, including specific trade marketing experience within the FMCG industry.
- MBA or Post-Graduate Diploma in Management with specialization in Marketing from a reputed university.
