Travel Industry Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Expand and consolidate our presence in the assigned territory through strategic partnerships and business development initiatives.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing partners to increase their performance and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new opportunities within the territory and grow existing ones.
- Provide system training to existing and new partners to ensure seamless integration and maximum utilization of our products.
- Position the brand within the travel trade through ongoing product presentations and networking events.
- Address incident issues promptly, ensuring partner support and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Manage payments accurately, overseeing transaction processing and ensuring timely resolution of any discrepancies.
- Spend approximately 30% of working time on business trips, attending meetings with clients, industry events, and other business-related activities.
- Conduct market and competitive environment analysis to inform business decisions and stay ahead of the competition.
- Provide regular comprehensive reporting through CRM and internal systems to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Maximize and develop API deals with potential and existing partners to drive revenue growth and expand our offerings.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of successful experience in account management or business development within the B2B travel industry.
- In-depth understanding of the region's travel market, including B2B travel networks (tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, OTAs).
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Up to 30% of travel time may be required.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable with data-driven decision-making and metrics-driven approaches.
- Proactive, ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, results-focused, and comfortable with fast-changing business environments.
- International mindset, able to understand and work across various cultural contexts reflecting our global presence.
- Competence in API technology deals is a plus.
