The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Executive to join our team as a Senior Sales professional responsible for selling software licenses and consulting services directly to assigned customer accounts in the Energy/Petroleum/Engineering industry.
Your Impact:
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales quota by developing and executing effective sales strategies.
- Manage day-to-day sales process, coordinate account meetings, and coordinate sales support resources to drive revenue growth.
- Provide sales and executive management with account updates, sales forecasts, and strategic recommendations to inform business decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at assigned accounts, leveraging your technical expertise and industry knowledge to deliver value-added solutions.
What You'll Need:
- A degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant technical field is preferred, along with extensive experience selling to customers in the Energy/Petroleum/Engineering industry.
- Demonstrated track record in successful direct sales of software solutions, with significant experience leading multimillion-dollar sales campaigns.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to establish and cultivate 'C' level consultative relationships.
- Proficiency in establishing and maintaining customer contacts at assigned accounts, leveraging your technical expertise and industry knowledge to deliver value-added solutions.
About the Role:
- This role requires a self-disciplined and motivated individual who can work independently with indirect supervision to achieve results.
- Familiarity with AspenTech products and similar software solutions is highly desirable.
- International company experience is a plus, with the ability to adapt to diverse cultural environments.
