About the Role
This position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor and is responsible for coordinating patient admissions, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all patients. The successful candidate will have a high university degree or suitable equivalent, with two years' work experience in a similar position in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
• Listen attentively to patients to understand their needs
• Follow patient identification processes and ensure accurate data entry
• Request necessary documents from patients and update their records accordingly
• Complete billing process for cash patients and obtain signatures on relevant documents
• Check approval conditions before admission and communicate details to patients
• Collect down payments for rejected codes or items and inform the direct supervisor of any unpaid services
• Ensure patient confidentiality at all times and maintain a clean and tidy workspace
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A high university degree or suitable equivalent
• Two years' work experience in a similar position in a hospital setting
• High proficiency in Arabic and English language skills
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of standard office practices
• Outstanding communication and phone etiquette skills
• Ability to work shifts and be available as needed
Benefits and Remuneration
The Patient Admissions Coordinator will receive a competitive salary, estimated to be around $3,500 - $4,200 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, the role offers opportunities for professional growth and development within the hospital.
