Enthusiastic University Admissions Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enthusiastic University Admissions Professional to join our team at the American University of Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all external student recruitment, prospect marketing initiatives for the Office of Admissions, and admitting students into the appropriate level at AUK.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate schedules and daily operations with the Director of Admissions.
- Greet walk-ins, answer in-person, telephone, email, and inquiries forms as needed, and impart admissions-related information in a clear and accurate manner.
- Develop relationships with prospective students and their parents, as well as high school counselors and officials.
- Build relationships with prospective students through various channels, encouraging them to apply.
- Coordinate secondary school recruitment and visitation plans with all schools in the assigned territory.
- Conduct interviews with prospective students to assess their suitability and compatibility with AUK.
- Develop comprehensive communication techniques to maintain ongoing and meaningful communication with prospects, including data mining through Banner query.
- Manage prospective student data collection and entry into Banner and any related recruitment technologies.
- A minimum of years of experience in college/university admissions or recruitment is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with oral presentations and written communication.
- Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic language skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member with and for multicultural/multilingual populations.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle required.
The duties are performed within an office environment, and continuous working on desktops and laptops will be required. Occasionally, it may be necessary to work during evenings or weekends and allows for flexible scheduling to deal with interruptions throughout the day.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this role is KD 1,800 per month, based on the requirements of the position and the location of the American University of Kuwait.
