Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized University Event Coordinator to join our team at American International University.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing event logistics, coordinating communication, and providing administrative support for university events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning: Track the progress of multiple planning initiatives, assist in organizing event workshops, and provide administrative support for event submission platforms.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with vendors to ensure seamless delivery of services and liaise with the events management company to finalize logistics.
  • Communication Management: Serve as the main point of contact for participants and VIP guests, managing guest itineraries and arrival details.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records, manage document sharing platforms, prepare meeting materials, and follow up on action items.
  • On-Site Event Support: Support the on-site management of university events, including registration, workshop oversight, and addressing guest needs.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with document management platforms.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, especially during major university event dates.
  • Travel Requirements: Availability to travel within Kuwait for vendor meetings and site visits.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
