Afternoon Campus Engagement Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Afternoon Campus Engagement Coordinator to join our team at American University of Kuwait. As the Part-Time Evening Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all student life afternoon events and activities on campus.
Key Responsibilities- Event Planning and Coordination: Plan, organize, and supervise all student life afternoon events and activities, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Sports Management: Oversee sports practices and intramural programs within the campus, providing support and guidance to ensure safety and effective use of facilities.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with student organizations, sports teams, and campus staff to coordinate logistics, including scheduling, equipment, and space allocation.
In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants, ensuring adherence to university policies and guidelines. You will need to manage event setup and breakdown, ensuring all equipment is properly handled and stored. Additionally, you will assist with conflict resolution and provide guidance during events or practices to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
To succeed in this position, you will need to have strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will need to work effectively with students, staff, and external partners. Knowledge of intramural sports and campus recreation is an advantage, but not required.
Requirements- Previous Experience: Previous experience in event coordination, sports management, or student activities is preferred.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and external partners.
We offer a competitive salary, estimated at KD 600 per month, based on industry standards and comparable positions. This role also offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
