As a Billeting Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our billeting office, providing timely and efficient assistance to our clients, and maintaining accurate records and reports.

Job Description:
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Maintain accurate manning roster and update the billeting database
    • Process incoming and outgoing PCS, TCS, TDY, Contractors, deployed, and transit personnel on official government orders in support of OIF/OEF according to the Housing Office procedures
    • Provide daily information to stakeholders
    • Inventory, issue, and receive linen on a daily basis from a local BPA contract
    • Monitor and check all vacant quarters on a daily basis
    • Conduct monthly fire and safety inspections for all empty rooms
    • Perform some custodial services within housing
  • Requirements:
    • High School diploma required; College degree preferred
    • One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required
    • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office software (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
    • Interpersonal and communication skills are requirements of this position as there is constant interaction with army personnel as well as fellow co-workers
    • Problem-solving abilities are required to ensure that in case of a supervisor being unavailable, they can handle a situation on their own
