Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer at Alghanim Industries is responsible for implementing the sales plan to achieve targets and increase department growth by optimizing sales and market share of existing products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new customers and sales channels, and explore market opportunities for potential initiatives.
- Deliver technical and sales presentations to potential customers, clearly explaining plans and being prepared to address customer inquiries.
- Provide honest and transparent guidance to customers, highlighting the pros and cons of each brand, to foster long-term relationships.
- Meet with customers to introduce products, attend prequalification meetings, and seek MEW approval for Lighting and Solar systems.
- Be available to address customer queries and questions, and prepare technical drawings and designs with customers in preparation for the installation stage.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for company clients.
- Improve networking with customers by maintaining updated records and databases.
- Continuously seek ways to improve department profits by promoting available services to meet sales targets.
- Act as a responsible ambassador, presenting a professional and healthy image of Alghanim Industries.
- Liaise with the Marketing department to propose necessary marketing tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Up to 5 years of experience in direct sales activities.
- Working in the same field is a must.
Creativity: Ability to think of new systems and ways to work, and ask the right questions.
Analytical Skills: Ability to understand complex mathematical analysis, calculus, and other mathematics for design and troubleshooting.
Lighting / Street Lighting / Solar systems knowledge: Ability to use equipment and tools, and read lux calculation reports.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to develop new solutions to problems, identify the source, create, and test solutions.
Teamwork: Ability to work well with others to achieve the job.
Listening Skills: Ability to listen to workers, teammates, end users, and management.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate plans, thoughts, and rationale in the job, with good communication skills helping to accomplish the job.
