We are currently seeking a Regional Business Development Specialist who will be responsible for generating revenue growth through the sale of Aspen Tech software solutions and professional services.
The incumbent will drive consultative discussions to position Aspen Tech software and services solutions with our customers, thereby renewing and expanding our business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proven experience utilizing subsurface geomodelling software for static modelling of reservoirs (O&G, Geothermal, CCS, or Upstream related applications).
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales quota.
• Achieve assigned objectives of sales pipeline development.
• Manage day-to-day sales process, coordinate account meetings, and coordinate sales support resources.
• Provide sales and executive management with account updates, sales forecasts, etc.
• Coordinate and lead multidivisional account teams.
• Work as a team member on sales efforts involving global account opportunities.
• Develop and maintain customer contacts at assigned accounts.
Minimum Qualifications:
• University degree preferred.
• Extensive experience selling to customers in the Energy/Petroleum/Engineering industry.
• Demonstrated track record in successful direct sales of software solutions.
• Proficient at establishing and cultivating 'C' level consultative relationships.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-discipline and motivation to produce results with indirect supervision.
• Specific industry knowledge and experience.
• Familiarity with Aspen or similar products.
• International company experience.
