**Job Overview**

This position reports directly to the Management team and will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities across the company.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain accurate records of goods ordered and received, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
  • Identify and establish relationships with reliable vendors, evaluating their product availability and terms of sales to ensure optimal purchasing decisions.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders for essential supplies and equipment in a timely manner.
  • Control and optimize procurement budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to interview and select candidates for open positions within the purchasing department, providing guidance on staff training and development.
  • Review purchase order claims and contracts to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Analyze market trends and delivery systems to assess current and future material availability, making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures to streamline operations.
  • Participate in the creation of specifications for equipment, products, or substitute materials, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Resolve vendor grievances and claims against suppliers in a fair and professional manner.
  • Represent Adnar Group in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers, promoting mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Review, evaluate, and approve bid specifications for issuing and awarding contracts, ensuring transparency and fairness.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
  • Prepare bid awards requiring board approval, presenting recommendations for decision-making.
  • Compile and present reports on market conditions and merchandise costs to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Administer online purchasing systems, ensuring efficient and secure transactions.
  • Coordinate the disposal of surplus materials, implementing environmentally responsible practices.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Fluent Arabic and good English language skills, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in procurement or a related field, with expertise in the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as business administration or logistics.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Kuwait Market and its dynamics.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills, with ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills, with ability to motivate and guide colleagues.
