At Mohamed Abdulrahman Al Bahar, we are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our client base in the FMCG sector.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with a strong background in the FMCG sector. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in promoting and selling our products on credit, managing customer accounts, and developing strong relationships with existing clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, preferably in the FMCG sector, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have a basic understanding of credit management and financial principles, as well as proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and target potential customers to expand the client base
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of the products
  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring timely follow-ups on credit applications and payments
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies that drive sales
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
  • Prepare and submit sales reports to management, detailing performance metrics and forecasts
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the FMCG sector
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of credit management and financial principles
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
