The beachfront resort features 316 rooms and suites, 80 residential suites, and 12 villas, along with seven restaurants, cafes, and lounges, a Talise Spa, a 200-metre private beach, two swimming pools, and a children's play area.
About the Job: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Business Development Manager role to join the Sales team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the planning, sales strategy, tactics, and activities for the SBU to ensure alignment with overall Strategy
- Identifying sales opportunities to cover all market segments
- BUILDING and maintaining positive relationships with all partners to determine strategic goals are met
- Ensuring POP activities are completed for a successful opening
- Monitoring teams' delivery of ADPs and sales plans to achieve sales targets
- Establishing effective communication within Jumeirah Sales and other departments to ensure thorough understanding of sales strategy
- Representing the hotel at road shows, trade fairs, and other events to maximise sales opportunities and enhance reputation of the hotel
- Prospecting for and assisting team members in prospecting for new business sources
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with KHOA /Government to enhance reputation of the hotel
- Assisting with annual rate structure discussions and setting
- Maintaining market awareness and communication throughout the team
- Delivering and facilitating entrepreneurial selling and Brand message to customers
- Creating strong customer relationships for revenue optimisation
- Managing assigned accounts to ensure correct business mix
- Researching local and regional trends for all business opportunities
About You: To be considered for this role, you should have:
- At least 2 years in a senior sales role (essential)
- Minimum 3 years regional / GCC experience
- Experience in 5* luxury hotels
- Strong relationship within the corporate segment in Kuwait
- Experience with Data analysis and interpretation
