About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) as an Academic Admin Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare correspondence, take minutes, and file documents in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Provide exceptional client service to ACK students, responding to their queries and concerns.
  3. Coordinate the flow of information within the department, handling confidential matters with discretion.
  4. Support other staff members in the department, providing backup and organisational assistance when needed.
  5. Identify and follow up on no-show students, escalating issues to the Office of Registrar if necessary.
  6. Work closely with instructors to prepare students' progress reports, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  7. Complete all tasks and requirements for the end of semester, following instructions from the Head of school.
  8. Undertake additional duties and projects as required, aligning with the scope of work set by the Head of program direction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Office Administration or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in office administration, preferably in a customer service environment.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to learn new software packages.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic language skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Organisational and time management skills, with a strong work ethic.
