The ideal candidate will provide crucial support to our legal department, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with local and international real estate laws.

Job Description:

The Administrative Legal Specialist will play a vital role in supporting our legal team and internal departments, facilitating efficient legal operations and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the real estate investment sector.

  • Draft, review, and prepare legal documents related to real estate transactions, including contracts, agreements, memoranda, and correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain legal files, databases, and documentation systems for efficient retrieval and storage of real estate investment information.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory compliance requirements specific to real estate investments in Kuwait and international markets.
  • Support the review and management of real estate contracts, including tracking key dates and facilitating contract execution processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal and management reports and presentations related to real estate investment opportunities and market trends.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel and real estate professionals as needed.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare meeting minutes for the legal team.
  • Conduct preliminary legal research on real estate laws, regulations, and market conditions in Kuwait and target international markets.
  • Assist in due diligence processes for potential real estate acquisitions and development projects.
  • Assist with day-to-day admin functions & operations of the Legal department. Process and track legal work. Record and monitor deadlines.
  • Create, format, revise and edit legal documents such as wills, deeds, affidavits, complaints, subpoenas, and briefs.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, minutes, letters, memos, presentations, and spreadsheets.
  • Transcribe dictation.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis tasks as required.
  • Gather case evidence and documentation.
  • Monitor and coordinate the flow of information internally and externally.
  • Liaison with and supervision over the work of the PRO relating to transfer and renewal of company licenses and vehicles registration and family members documents.
  • Coordinate with the Legal Department to ensure that all visa and residency-related formalities for employees are completed on time.
  • Responsible for compiling jot forms for management signature, under the supervision of the Office Manager.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of company licenses.
  • Respond to all case-related queries.
  • Supervise & manage company documents and archives through Office Assistant.
  • Obtain Management approval on agreements/transactions/payments, etc. as deemed necessary.
  • Handle confidential and non-routine information.
  • Undertake general administrative tasks as required by top management.
