The Role
Sales Account Executive Job DescriptionThis senior role in the Aspen Technology Sales group is responsible for driving sales growth through strategic account management and software licensing and consulting services.
Your Impact
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets by developing and executing effective sales strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at assigned customer accounts
- Drive sales pipeline development through proactive account planning and lead generation
- Provide regular updates and forecasts to sales and executive management
- Lead multidivisional account teams to achieve shared goals
What We're Looking For
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant technical field
- Proven track record in direct software sales, preferably in the energy/petroleum/engineering industry
- Extensive experience leading multimillion-dollar sales campaigns
- Strong consultative skills and ability to establish C-level relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Aspen or similar products is highly desirable, as is international company experience.
