Job Description
As a Sales Manager, you will be required to achieve agreed sales/productivity/performance targets and grow market shares for defined products in Kuwait. Your primary responsibility is to develop the market share of products and work on business development opportunities by analyzing competitors' activity in Kuwait. You will evaluate potential and develop strategies to realize the key accounts' and tender business's growth opportunities. Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of markets in terms of potential size and share for the product. Set an insight-based business plan and lead the execution in alignment with cross-functional teams. Ensure achievement of sales targets, local market targets, profitability, and market share through proper supply chain management in alignment with local distributors. Align with the marketing team to conduct and participate in local and international conferences/presentations, CMEs for HCPs as per Acino's SOP and strategic plan. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including physicians, pharmacists, and hospital staff. Train and manage a team of Product Specialists to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and territory objectives. Coach, develop, and improve the field force effectiveness through setting market-specific KPIs and motivate them to achieve results. Assign territories per Product Specialist for achieving sales targets. Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to maximize results. Understand the competitive landscape and develop strategies to effectively compete in Kuwait.
Required Skills and Qualifications
You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related fields. Previous experience in a similar position is necessary. Relevant experience in Trade and Tender Business in both markets is preferable. You should have the ability to combine strategic vision with tactical hands-on execution and possess a high work capacity. Outstanding leadership ability, including motivating employees with different backgrounds and skill levels, is essential. Stakeholders-focused and strong networking skills are desirable. Excellent command of written and spoken English is necessary. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with healthcare professionals and build lasting relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify customer needs and recommend solutions are required. Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment is necessary. An ethical mindset and commitment to complying with industry regulations and company policies are essential.
