About the Role:

  • Culinary Operations: Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and execute menus, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the kitchen staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of food supplies and equipment, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety protocols are adhered to, maintaining a safe working environment for staff and patrons alike.
  • Menu Development: Work closely with the culinary team to design and implement new menu items and concepts, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Cost Control: Contribute to menu planning and cost control initiatives, aligning our culinary offerings with business objectives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven Track Record: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a sous chef in an Italian restaurant setting, with a proven ability to drive results and exceed expectations.
  • Culinary Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Italian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques, with a passion for innovation and creativity.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Operational Excellence: Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure under pressure while delivering exceptional results.
