Job Title: HR Officer
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement the school's mission, objectives, and educational approach in daily tasks.
- Process employee contracts, input personnel data into the system, and print renewal contracts.
- Maintain accurate staff records, including electronic and paper files, with all official documents included.
- Certify and update documents from the relevant authorities, as needed.
- Organize and deliver orientation for new employees.
- Ensure open communication with existing and new staff members, addressing inquiries via phone or other means.
- Manage residency procedures for international staff, including transfers, renewals, cancellations, and system updates.
- Enroll Kuwaiti employees in the social security pension scheme, ensuring accuracy of information.
- Collaborate in developing and updating policies and regulations, and communicating them to staff.
- Distribute the staff handbook annually or as necessary.
- Compose official letters such as warnings, appraisals, terminations, salary certificates, and other correspondence.
- Prepare regular and annual reports for management and complete assigned tasks.
- Manage administrative and faculty statistics and budgets, submitting reports to relevant authorities.
- Foster collaboration with external departments and agencies, such as banks (for staff accounts) and airlines (for bookings and quotations).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a school as an HR officer.
- Knowledge of Kuwait Labor Law and Private Education Division regulations.
- Understanding of government procedures related to schools.
- Bilingual in English and Arabic.
