About the Opportunity:

This exciting opportunity exists for an experienced sales professional to join our team as an Area Retail Manager. You will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion in the French African region, working closely with high-ranking public and private sector staff to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve assigned individual sales targets and company objectives for the allocated sales area.
  2. Liaise and negotiate with high-ranking public and private sector staff to close deals and sign sales and maintenance contracts.
  3. Cultivate strong relationships with customers through effective communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Travel extensively within the sales area to build up and maintain customer relationships.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of direct sales experience in technical products in the Africa region.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English/French is mandatory, with language skills in Portuguese or Spanish being advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to different cultural contexts.
