The Role:

As a key member of our bidding team, you will lead the process of evaluating tender documents from a technical and commercial point of view. You will identify risk factors, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and coordinate with division managers and heads.

Key Accountabilities and Activities:

  • Review and study all tender documents to ensure all data required for participating are available.
  • Attend pre- and post-contract interviews and client meetings as required.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations against tender requirements.
  • Prepare preliminary estimations, budget estimations, and share them with line managers.
  • Create detailed cost breakdown sheets and combine bid packages.
  • Manage associated cost preparation responsibilities.
  • Attend clarification meetings with clients when required.
  • Ensure tenders meet company commercial guidelines and obtain necessary sign-offs.
  • Take responsibility for handover documentation in the event of an order.
  • Participate in and support company initiatives.
  • Be familiar with general specifications and market requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all work-related matters.
  • Establish, maintain, and revise filing systems for documentation.
  • Proactively improve skills by staying informed of developments, knowledge, and innovations in relevant fields.
