As a Senior Sales Professional at Aspen Technology, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and strategic partnerships within the energy industry. The RoleThis is a senior-level sales position within the Aspen Technology Sales group, focusing on selling software licenses and consulting services directly to assigned customer accounts. You will be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales quota, managing day-to-day sales processes, coordinating account meetings, and leading multidivisional account teams.
- Drive sales pipeline development and achieve assigned objectives.
- Provide regular updates to sales and executive management on account progress, sales forecasts, and other relevant information.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at assigned accounts, identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing ones.
As a seasoned sales professional, you will bring significant experience in selling to customers in the energy industry, particularly those in the oil and gas, geothermal, and upstream sectors. Your proficiency in using subsurface geomodelling software for static modelling of reservoirs is essential for success in this role. A chemical engineering or relevant technical degree is preferred, but not required.
What You'll Need- Extensive experience selling to customers in the Energy/Petroleum/Engineering industry.
- Demonstrated track record of successful direct sales of software solutions.
- Significant experience leading multimillion dollar sales campaigns.
- Proficient at establishing and cultivating C-level consultative relationships.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Personal computer literacy.
- Self-discipline and motivation to produce results with indirect supervision.
