Hotel Revenue Strategist

About the Role:
As a key member of our revenue management team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability for IHG Hotels & Resorts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement revenue strategies to optimize room rates, occupancy, and revenue per available room (RevPAR) across all hotel properties.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and guest behavior to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of revenue strategies.
- Conduct weekly rate/sell strategy meetings with senior leadership to review progress, discuss challenges, and make data-driven decisions.
- Monitor and analyze booking pace, group wash, cut-off enforcement, denied, and regretted business to inform revenue strategies.
- Approve and implement sell strategies for all group proposals above 9 rooms on any given night.
- Manage revenue systems, including yield management, to ensure optimal pricing and inventory allocation.
- Provide training and support to hotel teams on revenue system functionality and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with IHG standards, rules, and regulations regarding revenue management practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in revenue management, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and improving profit margins.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of revenue management systems, including yield management and forecasting tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
