Strategic Business Operations Leader

At AIU, we are seeking an exceptional Executive Vice President (EVP) to lead our Business Operations team. As a seasoned executive, you will be responsible for driving the strategic and operational success of the organization.

Reporting Structure

You will report directly to the President and oversee the supervision of Vice Presidents across all divisions, including Student Affairs and Enrollment, Academic Affairs, Administration, Campus Safety, and Facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing operational strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring innovative and efficient business services.
  • Supervising all Vice Presidents, ensuring their functions and initiatives align with the university's mission.
  • Directly supervising and overseeing the Academic Affairs function to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with the university's goals.
  • Overseeing key business functions, including finance, HR, facilities, and IT, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and process optimization.
  • Leading initiatives to identify and implement best practices for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Leading, mentoring, and inspiring teams across business and academic units, promoting accountability, innovation, and a collaborative culture.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders, representing the university in high-level engagements and negotiations.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA).
  • Extensive leadership experience in business operations, with a demonstrated ability to come up to speed quickly and lead effectively across various functions.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and process optimization.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • A proven ability to learn rapidly and adapt to complex organizational environments.
  • A commitment to ethical practices and fostering an inclusive workplace.
