Foreground Consultancy is partnering with a leading food manufacturer to fill the role of Senior Kuwait Market Leader. This position involves overseeing operations in Kuwait, driving business growth, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trade marketing, FMCG distribution, and an in-depth understanding of the Kuwaiti market. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Business Development: Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to achieve growth targets and align with company objectives. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market presence and drive sales growth.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations across sales, marketing, finance, and HR functions to ensure seamless operations and adherence to company standards. Oversee budget planning, monitor financial performance, and ensure effective cost management.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all key stakeholders, including distributors, co-ops, and major accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships to support collaboration, align on goals, and address concerns promptly.
  • Sales and Marketing Coordination: Develop and implement targeted sales and marketing strategies that support business growth and customer engagement. Collaborate with distributor sales teams, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to achieve desired sales outcomes.
  • Customer Satisfaction and Service Excellence: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively. Work closely with key accounts to understand their needs and customize solutions that foster loyalty and long-term partnerships.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role with a proven track record in driving business growth, preferably within the same sector.
  • Strong understanding of the local Kuwaiti market and FMCG distribution.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and manage a cross-functional team.
  • Proven experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both English and Arabic.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills to inform strategic decision-making.
