About the Role

The Large Segment Team Leader/Manager is responsible for leading the sales function, ensuring large account managers efforts are constantly aligned to Zain Kuwait's business goals and performance targets.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the development and execution of the Large 1 segments' sales strategy, ensuring sales targets agreed with Private Accounts Department Manager are met.
  2. Oversee Account Managers in the development of their sales plans, providing expertise and ensuring alignment with overarching strategy.
  3. Monitor Account Managers' sales performance against the plan regularly and agree on actions to improve performance.
  4. Coach Account Managers on-the-job to continuously improve their competences and performance.
  5. Manage relationships with segment's high-priority accounts and provide support to Account Managers in acquiring new major accounts.
  6. Direct the new business development efforts with existing and new Large Accounts.
  7. Ensure a world class customer experience and relationship management throughout sales interactions with Large Accounts.
  8. Ensure realistic and accurate estimation of sales opportunities in the pipeline and present sales updates to the management team.
  9. Take ownership of and implement business plan initiatives pertaining to the Sales function.
  10. Coordinate with support departments to ensure availability of a pool of training resources.

  1. Ability to lead, inspire and motivate stakeholders towards a common goal.
  2. Familiarity with business theory and methodology, especially customer value proposition, product (lifecycle) management, pricing and communication.
  3. Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization.
  4. Strong understanding of large corporations including industry and main players.
  5. Ability to market size potential opportunities and prioritize generating leads accordingly.
  6. Strong quantitative and analytical reasoning abilities.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and frame key issues.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (demonstrated capability of professional written and verbal communication skills as well as capability of translating technical terminology to user friendly comms).
  9. Ability to analyze a situation and produce creative, original and useful solutions.
  10. Strong understanding of telecommunications products, trends and technology markets.
  11. Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
