The Role

The Specialist Animator in marketing creates compelling, high-quality animations to communicate brand messages and engage audiences across digital platforms. Responsibilities include developing motion graphics and animated content for advertisements, social media, websites, and presentations. The role involves collaborating with marketing teams to align animations with campaign goals, brand identity, and storytelling objectives. The animator uses advanced software to produce polished, error-free animations on schedule, bringing creative ideas and innovative techniques to enhance visual appeal and effectiveness. Staying updated with latest trends and technologies is essential for continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities and Activities
  1. Design and produce high-quality 2D and 3D animations for web, social media, and television.
  2. Develop storyboards and visual concepts to guide animation projects.
  3. Create character animations, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance production quality.
  4. Collaborate with creative teams to develop and execute animation concepts meeting project goals and deadlines.
  5. Work with marketing, product development, and content teams to ensure cohesive visual storytelling.
  6. Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom, Maya, Blender) to produce animations.
  7. Maintain and organize animation assets for easy access.
  8. Stay updated on animation trends, techniques, and technologies.
  9. Experiment with new tools and methods for process and product improvement.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field.

Other Information

2-3+ years of experience in Animation.

Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom, Maya, Blender, etc.

Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, motion, and character design.

Ability to create both 2D and 3D animations.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Creative thinker with problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Superior organizational skills.

Experience managing teams.
