Solution Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Solution Architect to design and deliver application solutions that meet user needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and documenting user requirements, sourcing cost-effective applications, and ensuring adherence to risk policies and regulatory frameworks.

This is a critical role within our organization, requiring strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills. As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop effective solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification/experience in system operations and development, preferably within the banking sector. Strong experience in major technologies is also essential.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • User Requirement Definition: Define and document user requirements to ensure alignment with available applications.
  • Solution Sourcing: Identify and source cost-effective applications that meet user needs.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to risk policies, regulatory frameworks, and corporate governance principles.
  • Testing and Rollout: Engage users in testing applications, conduct risk assessments, and prepare rollout programs.
  • Solution Implementation: Facilitate the rollout of solutions through effective communication and training.
  • User Support: Assist users in defining requirements, ensuring all changes are documented and thoroughly tested before production.
  • Issue Resolution: Monitor performance issues, deliver resolutions, and implement necessary modifications.
  • Vendor Management: Cultivate relationships with vendors and ensure timely delivery of applications.
  • Application Monitoring: Track application performance and assess user feedback to enhance service quality.
Requirements for Success:Education:

A Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Certification/Experience is required.

Experience:
  • At least 2 years of experience in system operations and development within the banking sector.
  • Development experience in major technologies is a must.
Key Skills:
  • Audit and risk management awareness.
  • IT performance and quality management techniques.
Work Interaction:

Internal collaboration with PMO, IT Security & business units. External interaction with vendors.
