Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading cloud transformation initiatives, ensuring architectural best practices, and aligning cloud strategies with business objectives. Proficiency in both Arabic and English is essential for effective collaboration and project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing comprehensive cloud architectures for scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions on GCP, aligning with industry best practices and business needs.
  • Managing cloud infrastructure deployment, including compute, storage, networking, and security, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Implementing security frameworks using GCP services like IAM, VPC, and Security Command Center, ensuring compliance and data protection.
  • Optimizing cloud costs through resource management, rightsizing, and automation strategies.
  • Leading migration projects from on-premises data centers to GCP and multi-cloud environments, minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.
  • Automating infrastructure and deployment processes using IaC tools like Terraform and Deployment Manager, and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitOps, and Cloud Build.
  • Designing disaster recovery and high availability architectures, establishing backup and failover strategies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, translating requirements into effective cloud solutions, and communicating in Arabic and English.

Skills & Tools:

  • Proficiency in GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Run, etc.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager).
  • Skills in DevOps, automation, containerization, and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of security and compliance tools within GCP.
  • Experience with data analytics services and monitoring tools like Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Google Professional Cloud Architect (highly recommended)
  • Google Associate Cloud Engineer
  • Google Cloud Security Engineer
