The Senior Cloud Architect Consultant will lead technical advisory engagements across Kuwait's public sector, providing expert guidance on cloud adoption strategies, architecture design, and implementation planning. This cloud-provider agnostic role focuses on helping government entities build secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions in GCP and Azure while ensuring compliance with national and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

·Lead the architectural design of secure and scalable cloud environments for public sector workloads.

·Advise on hybrid and multi-cloud strategies, cloud-native development, and cloud migration planning.

·Develop cloud architecture blueprints, landing zones, and reference models for both GCP and Azure.

·Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud solutions with organizational goals, compliance, and performance requirements.

·Support government entities in establishing cloud governance frameworks, cost control strategies, and security baselines.

·Provide architectural oversight and assurance across large-scale digital transformation and cloud migration initiatives.

·Review existing infrastructure and applications to recommend modernization and cloud adoption paths.

·Stay current with cloud service offerings, tools, and trends to drive innovation and efficiency.

·Engage in technical workshops, presentations, and documentation tailored to various government agency needs.

·Provide mentorship to internal cloud teams and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions.

Qualifications

·Over 5 years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture and advisory.

·Demonstrated experience designing solutions on both Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

·Strong understanding of cloud-native services, infrastructure as code (IaC), DevOps, containers, and microservices.

Professional certifications:

·Google Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.

·Proven ability to develop architecture documents, standards, and solution design artifacts.

·Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and executive audiences.

·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English.

·Experience working with government or regulated industries on cloud transformation programs.

·Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, and automated deployment pipelines.

·Understanding of sovereign cloud requirements and secure government cloud architectures.
