Job Description

As an Administrative Assistant - Host Nations at Vectrus, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Host Nations department, ensuring seamless operations and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform a variety of general administrative support tasks, including preparing reports and correspondence, maintaining project files, and coordinating with subcontractors and program control.
  2. Prepare access badge applications, Sponsor letters, and Purchase Requests (PRs) for all employees in the company.
  3. Operate office equipment, PC computer, and printer, fax machine, 10-key calculator, and reproduction machines.
  4. Answer telephone calls for incoming and interoffice calls in a courteous and professional manner, disseminating messages to management and employees.
  5. Manage daily operations, schedule appointments, and process incoming and outgoing mail.
  6. Communicate effectively with all departments and point of contacts, verify timesheet accuracy, and prepare vacation schedules and vacation timesheets.

Required Skills

High School diploma plus vocational training in administrative sciences. Associate degree preferred. Equivalent work experience can be substituted for education on the basis of one (1) work year for every two (2) years of education required. Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Minimum of four (4) years of administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
