Service Desk Administrator Position

At Akima, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Administrator to join our team. As a Service Desk Administrator, you will be responsible for providing front-line customer service desk support, responding to and resolving computer, printer, and network issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service through various channels, including in-person, phone, and Service Now.
- Collaborate with site Information Management Officers (IMO) to ensure efficient utilization of Service Desk resources.
- Assist IMO with daily functions of computer, network, and software management for the site and all users.
- Provide immediate response to all customers who come to the Service Desk, including troubleshooting, information exchange, and help with ticket submission and issues.
Requirements:
- US citizen with an active Secret clearance or higher level security clearance.
- High school diploma or GED with at least one year of experience in a service desk/help desk environment.
- Valid US passport and ability to obtain and maintain an International Driver's Permit (IDP).
- Valid US driver's license and copy of COVID vaccination card.
- Ability to pass a police clearance check and medical qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office software proficiency.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Service Now call management software and other tools.
