Located in the heart of the Place Vendme, the Maison Chaumet is a key player in the luxury goods market and has been the epitome of excellence in Parisian jewellery since its founding in 1780. Thanks to its exceptional savoir-faire passed down from one generation to the next, Chaumets history has always been entwined with the history of France. At present, it is undergoing a substantial transformation to put it firmly in keeping with modern times. The Maison Chaumet is taking up a new place in a global repositioning context with a very considerable increase in sales.

As the Boutique Manager , your role will consist of optimizing the boutiques commercial performance and its profitability by coordinating your team in a constant concern for representing our Maison. Reporting to the Retail Director, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the Maisons project by carrying out the following missions:

Developing the boutiques sales attaining commercial targets:

  1. Driving the business and the team, setting the individual targets, monitoring the results and constantly exchanging feedback
  2. Building up existing customer loyalty and developing a new clientele via specific activities in and out of the store
  3. Coach the team and lead by example in all aspects of client relations, both in the store or via communication media (phone, email, whatsapp, etc)
  4. Leverage on a thorough knowledge of the different collections and promote them to the team, managing special orders and repairs in compliance with company procedures.
  5. Work in parallel both on the high jewelry collections and on the access, adapting the commercial actions accordingly
Managing the boutique team:

  1. Motivating the staff by creating a real team spirit, coordinating their activity, animate daily meetings
  2. Be the first point of entry for all HR related matters regarding the team
  3. Managing the team in coordination with HR and Retail Director: recruiting and integrating new members of staff, assessing performance, managing any disciplinary process
  4. Act as a major stakeholder in the safety and security of the store, pointing out to the company management any potential risk
Business analysis & operations:

  1. Analysis of the boutiques KPIs, making annual action plans for developing the boutiques business and drawing up reports on the subject
  2. Knowledge of competition and update on major trends
  3. Ensuring the boutiques visual identity (visual merchandising, display, grooming, etc.), oversee the correct functioning of IT tools (especially till-related)
  4. Be in charge of protecting and monitoring the company Stock
Being the ambassador for the Maison

  1. Promoting the boutique on an everyday level both internally and externally, champion the Maisons image both with external and internal counterparts
  2. Actively work to attract VIP and organize events both to drive commercial results and to increase the companys visibility
Votre profil

  1. At least 7 years experience in Retail with a first experience in managing a team.
  2. Leadership, the capacity to coach and develop teams.
  3. Results-oriented, business-driven, energetic, positive, can demonstrate a real entrepreneurial mindset.
  4. Integrity and exemplarity on the Maison and Store procedures and processes.
  5. Natural leader with good interpersonal competences and empathy.
  6. Autonomous with good analytical and organizational skills.
  7. Excellent communicator, able to develop a network.
  8. Location: Salhyia Kuwait.
