We're Hiring: Business & Project Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced Business & Project Development Lead to spearhead business development, sales, and oversee the execution of power-related technology projects in the telecom energy sector across the region. This role will drive strategic market expansion while ensuring delivery excellence in hybrid, solar, and traditional power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence for telecom energy solutions across the region.
  • Identify and engage with key clients, stakeholders, and partners to secure high-value business opportunities.
  • Lead the development, submission, and negotiation of commercial proposals and project bids.
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of power projects, including generators, UPS, solar, hybrid, and grid-tied systems.
  • Oversee technical site surveys and propose system upgrades or redesigns as required.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and field operations to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Track project milestones and business development KPIs, providing regular reports to leadership.
  • Supervise and support field teams, ensuring proper installation, commissioning, and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges to maintain infrastructure reliability.
  • Support the preparation of bids and technical documentation for tenders and RFPs.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, exhibitions, and networking events to promote brand visibility and partnerships.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in business development and power project execution in the telecom energy sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering; an Executive MBA is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in hybrid energy systems, fuel cell units (FCUs), diesel generators, rectifiers, battery banks, and solar integration.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous.
  • Mastery of both Arabic and English is required.
  • Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and electrical design tools.
  • Excellent strategic planning, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of electrical standards and regulatory compliance.
