Job Purpose:

The Business Development Manager at Yumn is responsible for driving the company's B2B growth strategy, expanding our corporate and wholesale sales, and building strategic relationships with high-value clients across the GCC. This role is key in growing Yumn's presence in the luxury gourmet gifting market, crafting partnership opportunities, and leading tailored product solutions for private clients, corporations, hospitality groups, and premium retailers.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong network, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep understanding of the gourmet retail, hospitality, or gifting industry. They will identify and pursue new opportunities, manage client relationships from prospect to delivery, and work cross-functionally to ensure premium service and brand alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Corporate Sales Acquisition:
    • Identify and secure B2B opportunities across industries (hospitality, banking, events, gifting).
    • Customize product bundles and corporate gifting packages aligned with Yumn's value and aesthetic.
    • Build and manage a pipeline of high-value accounts and seasonal gifting opportunities.
  2. Lead Generation & Market Expansion
    • Leverage industry connections to generate leads and develop long-term partnerships.
    • Represent Yumn in expos, networking events, and industry forums.
    • Explore and activate new markets in the GCC region.
  3. Proposal & Deal Management
    • Prepare commercial proposals and presentations that reflect Yumn's luxury positioning.
    • Negotiate contracts, ensuring both profitability and exceptional client experience.
    • Oversee documentation and end-to-end deal execution.
  4. Sales Targeting & Reporting
    • Develop quarterly sales plans and performance KPIs.
    • Report on lead status, conversion ratios, and revenue forecasts.
    • Analyze performance to optimize strategy and client targeting.
  5. Client Relationship Management
    • Act as primary contact for key clients, ensuring service excellence and satisfaction.
    • Coordinate fulfillment with operations and design teams.
    • Promote client retention, renewals, and referrals through proactive engagement.
  6. Leadership & Team Collaboration
    • Mentor junior team members and support onboarding of new sales hires.
    • Provide market insights to improve pricing, packaging, and product strategy.
    • Contribute to brand and sales innovation initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).

Experience:

  • Minimum 5–7 years in B2B business development, preferably in premium retail, gifting, F&B, or hospitality.
  • Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and building corporate portfolios.
  • Experience working with luxury brands or high-end clientele is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and deal-closing skills.
  • Skilled in commercial proposal writing and sales documentation.

Soft Skills:

  • Strategic thinker with strong initiative and follow-through.
