Marketplace Business Development Manager

The main objective of this role is to manage the day-to-day operation of a division. This includes developing and executing strategies to grow the business, as well as thinking creatively about ways to improve the company's seller base, selection, and revenues.
Business Development Job Duties:
• Hiring, training, and leading a team of sales professionals who will manage the day-to-day activities of clients, including prospective sellers.
• Working cross-functionally with various members of operations and technology teams, account management and marketing teams, and contacts from each client to achieve business objectives.
Requirements for Success:
• A proven background in business development/sales management is essential.
• Strong presentation skills are crucial in this role.
• Proven track-record in strong business-to-business sales at a corporate level.
• Strong research and strategic analysis skills are required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to cold call potential clients with confidence are key.
This role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong passion and enthusiasm about the company's mission, products, and services. The ideal candidate should be able to operate Microsoft Office and associated programs, as well as manage and update their own business development contacts and data via a CRM system.
