Business Development Manager - High Growth Opportunity

Our group is one of the most dynamic freight forwarding and aggressive companies in the region. We have the exciting opportunity to hire a talented Business Development Manager for our Freight services to join our Kuwait team. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and possess strong communication skills, sales presentation skills, networking abilities, and a strong business acumen with strategy implementation.

Responsibilities:
  1. The ability to identify, introduce, sell, and close deals with dedicated new customers.
  2. Identify new road freight opportunities in the Kuwait market across the GCC.
  3. Develop and build new customer relationships to grow business and contribute to company expansion.
  4. Expand the company portfolio on dedicated routes.
  5. Meet customers at a higher management level regularly and develop new business in certain industries.
  6. Work closely with management to achieve set targets.
  7. Fashion & Retail experience will be considered an added value for this role.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as a minimum.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in freight forwarding and related business development & sales.
  3. 3PL and previous freight forwarding business sales experience is a must to be considered.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Presentable and self-motivated.
  6. Able to perform under pressure.
  7. Focused and goal-oriented.
  8. Valid work visa, driving license, and own a vehicle.

Chosen candidates will be compensated with a rewarding package and benefits, including health insurance.

Candidates with road freight sales & forwarding experience only will be considered for this role.
