Job Description:

• Reporting to the Brand Manager you will be tasked with leading multiple stores throughout Kuwait.

• Recruitment, training, and leadership of store managers - supporting the store managers in achieving their goals is a key emphasis of the role.

• Setting the annual budgets and store targets, KPI's.

• Work with marketing to ensure strong promotional activities and marketing campaigns based on seasonality promotions.

• Managing performance of the stores, sales against budgets, wages, expenses.

• Oversee the merchandising, store standards, consistency of customer service & store design layout.

• Regular head office reporting on performance, issues, and solutions.

• Regular store visits and coaching of the teams.

• Driving exceptional customer service experience through your teams.

Skills Required:

• Minimum of 4 years Area Management / Retail Operations Management experience in either retail fashion, cosmetics, footwear, or department stores with well-recognized brands.

• Must have proven experience of managing multiple store locations, i.e., Area Manager or Operations Manager in Kuwait with proven results in achieving targets.

• Strong understanding of Middle East retailing – preference for an Arabic / English speaker.

• Excellent work ethic, strong leadership qualities, and a focused team player are critical attributes.

• Strong people management, fiscal & budget preparation, good computer skills in Excel and Word are prerequisites.

• Ability to work in a multicultural team and appreciation of other cultures & values.
