We're Hiring: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Defense & Trading Sector

Location: Kuwait City, Kuwait

Company: Advanced Future Group International (AFGI)

Industry: General Trading & Contracting | Defense & Government Projects | International Procurement

Are you a strategic finance leader with experience in the defense sector, government contracting, or international trade? AFGI is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team and drive financial performance, compliance, and strategic growth.

Your Role:

- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting across domestic and international operations

- Ensure compliance with defense sector financial regulations, tender requirements, and contract terms

- Oversee treasury, audit, risk management, and investment strategy

- Collaborate closely with government clients, auditors, and legal teams

- Streamline procurement, pricing, and cost-control measures aligned with project execution

- Lead cross-border financial operations, including joint ventures and offset agreements

You Bring:

- 10+ years of senior finance leadership, preferably in defense, government contracts, or large-scale trading

- In-depth knowledge of Kuwaiti financial regulations, Ministry of Defense contract frameworks, and GCC market practices

- Strong background in risk management, compliance, and IFRS reporting

- MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred

- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills

- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
