On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Chief Accountant who plays a role in aligning the organization's financial strategy with its overall objectives. This role involves developing and implementing strategic financial plans, analyzing technical financial proposals, and providing insightful recommendations to enhance financial performance and efficiency. The Chief Accountant serves as a key financial advisor to the CEO, offering strategic support on budgeting, cash flow management, accounting operations, and financial policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Review and analyze complex financial proposals and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance against budgets, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and performance enhancement.
  • Act as a strategic financial partner to the CEO, offering insights on financial positioning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, accounting processes, and policy compliance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions and ensure proper internal controls are in place.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support audit processes and ensure compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • 58 years of proven experience in financial business partnering, accounting, or a similar strategic finance role.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with the ability to interpret and present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
