TABCo. Food operates 17 Elevation Burger units in Kuwait with over 230 team members. The company is expanding and introducing new food concepts and brands aligned with its mission to enhance the region's food experience through smarter and sustainable choices.

The Role

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) oversees the dining area, supervises and trains staff, and supports programs to increase sales. The ASM must be certified at all stations and ensure compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities
Financials
  • Assist the Store Manager (SM) in controlling labor costs according to Elevation Burger standards.
  • Assist SM in managing the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) to meet company expectations.
  • Support efforts to increase top-line sales.
Food Quality
  • Ensure food is prepared and cooked to order following operational procedures.
  • Monitor food waste and address quality issues.
Team Development
  • Train new crew members.
  • Assist SM in developing crew members into shift leaders, assistant managers, and general managers.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and management to ensure excellent guest service and efficiency.
  • Handle and resolve guest complaints regarding food and service.
Miscellaneous
  • Manage scheduling and ensure the dining area is aesthetically pleasing.
  • Greet guests and supervise staff to ensure proper service.
  • Inspect staff uniforms and cleanliness.
  • Address guest service complaints.
  • Ensure FOH side-work and cleaning are completed as scheduled.
  • Maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of dining areas and equipment; report maintenance issues.
  • Secure the dining area at the end of the day.
  • Place and receive orders accurately.
  • Assist with monthly inventory counts.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in retail or food service.
  • Proficient in computer use.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in Food & Beverage or retail industry.
  • Related business degree or equivalent qualification.
